Cabot History & Information
Cabot began as a small settlement and refueling station for the railroads. The First Baptist Church was founded in the late 1870's. The first bank was established in 1903. The city was officially incorporated in 1891.
Cabot began to see growth during the 1950's & 1960's due to its close location to the Little Rock Air Force Base located in Jacksonville Arkansas. In the 1990's and through present day, Cabot continues to see growth because of the school district and the close proximity to Little rock.
Businesses are still trying to catch up with the recent population boom in Cabot. There are many opportunities for new businesses and restaurants in the Cabot area.
