Cabot Arkansas Home Sales in October
This past month felt like it was a better month for the Cabot housing market. Our office closed more in October then September and I closed more transactions in October also. Here are what the numbers show.
In October there were 51 homes sold in the Cabot area. That is not just in Cabot, but in Ward, Austin, and some rural parts of Lonoke County also. That number is still down substantially from last year, but not as bad as September. In September the Cabot housing market was down 61% compared to last year's September. This past month we are down about 30% compared to last year's October.
That is still a substantial drop in the number of homes sold. Here is a price range scale of what sold last month.

This report does not include mobile or manufactured homes. Homes in the 120-130K price range sold the most in Cabot during the month of October. I believe that price range also has the most number of homes listed. My next post will focus on the inventory of homes on the Cabot real estate market. Then we will be able to tell how many homes are listed in each price range. Right now if you are trying to sell a home, do not get discouraged. There is a good chance that you are just a victim of the market.
Good day
