June Home Sales in Cabot Arkansas
The Cabot Arkansas real estate market is holding up strong as of this past month. In June there were 86 homes sold in the Cabot area. That is one home less then what sold in June of 2008. The homes sold ranged in price from 69K to 287K.
The end of June also marks the middle of the year. Half way through the year the Cabot real estate market is down approx 9.4% from where sales were a year ago mid way through the year. Here are the mid-year sales numbers for the past four years.
2006- 561 Cabot area homes sold
2007- 522 Cabot area homes sold
2008- 470 Cabot area homes sold
2009- 426 Cabot area homes sold
Anyone can see a steady pattern of decreased home sales since 2006. So far this year the Cabot real estate market is down as I have explained above. Thankfully the Cabot area is not down as far as other parts of the nation. The Northeastern and the Southern areas of the U.S. are down the most this year to date according to the NAR (National Association of Realtors).
