Tax Credit set to expire
The government tax credit for first time home buyers and move up home buyers is set to expire today. I hope everybody that wanted to take advantage of the government incentive had a chance to.
I know that everyone in my office has been busy lately with several people rushing to take advantage. Buyers need to have an accepted contract by today and close by June 30th to take advantage of the tax credit. Next week I will be writing about the total number of sold homes in the Cabot area for April. I am predicting that April, May, and possibly June should be higher this year than some previous years due to the tax credit. We will find out. Until then.
